Halloween Projects

For my first project I chose to make a Halloween "BOO" sign. I've seen a ton of cute one's on Pinterest and knew that I could make my own using my Cricut!!

I used the new Cricut Cartridge A Frightful Affair

I used empty cereal boxes as the base, they come in handy when making certain projects, especially when you want or need a sturdy back :)
The letter's are cut out at 8' using K & Company paper
I used polka dot ribbon from Micheal's to tie them together
I used Paper Dolls Dress Up for the ghosts, they are cut out at 3'
I used action wobbles on all the ghosts.
I used a 3M sticking tack on the back of my kitchen cabinets to attach the "Boo" sign too

For my second project I used Mini Monsters

Again I saw this adorable Halloween treat gift on Pinterest, I am going to give it to one of my friends as a "BOO" gift. If you have never heard of a "BOO" gift, it's really fun, you make two gifts and leave them on your friends or neighbors porch with a "BOO" note and they have to leave two different gifts on their neighbors or friends porch along with the "BOO" sign..

I scored and cut the rosettes at 12x1" and 12x1 1/2"
The ghost are from page 42 and are cut at 2" and 2 1/2"
The Spooky is cut at 1"
Boo is cut at 1 1/2"
Happy Halloween is cut at 1 1/2"
The Witch is cut at 3"
I bought the glass vase and ribbon from Michael's
Candy corn I bought from the grocery store
and the paper sticks are from Jaded Blossom

For my last and final project I chose to do a Christmas Card using Jolly Holidays

The card is an A2 4 1/2 x 5 1/2
The red strip of paper is  2 1/2 x 5 1/2
The white strip is 2 1/4 x 5 1/2
The brown strip is 2 x 5 1/2
I used the Snowflake stamp from
Jaded Blossom's Snowman Kisses
and
Pink by Designs ~ Snowflakes
The Santa beard is cut at 3 1/2" and 3"
I used the Cuttlebug Swirls folder to emboss his beard and added Frosted Lace Stickles
his nose is cut at 2"
his beard layers are cut at 1.25"
his face is cut at 1.75"
his hat is cut at 3.6"
I used a scalloped punch for the pompom on his hat
I added googly eyes and chalked his cheeks

Anniversary card using Cricut Imagine

Today I made an anniversary card. I haven't played much with my Imagine and I'm really sorry I've been ignoring her lol.. It so versatile, so many things you can make unique :)

So here is my card :)

For the background paper, dogs and heart I chose patterns and colors from the Imagine More carts.
For the dogs and heart I chose to use the Paper Pups carts.
I cut the Love Dogs from page 96 out at 2"
the heart I cut out at 3"

I used a stamp I purchased at Joann's for the sentiment.

First Ever Mini Album

My first EVER mini album!!

I have never made one and it was really hard to break out of my comfort zone.

A few months back I made 1st Birthday invitations for my good friends daughters birthday and decided I would make a matching mini album using the same papers, Echo Park Hello Summer.

I used Art Philosophy and old cereal boxes to make my mini album:
Page 53 cut at 6"
I used Country Life for the  banner cut at 1.417h x 8.462W

I used dollar store gel pens that Erica's Room had sent me in one of my shipments to use on my DT projects, she is always sending little extra's in our boxes :)

The #1 is cut at 2" using the Country Life Cartridge

Here is the mini album showcasing all the cute papers from the Echo Park Hello Summer Line!! I love all of their papers :)

Last but not least I had to post a picture of the sweet birthday girl enjoying her cake :)

A Cute Lamb Cheer Up Card

Cheer Up Card!!

I thought a cute little lamb would be cute for a Cheer Up card.

So I chose the little lamb from Create A Critter

I cut the lamb out at 4" in black for a shadowed effect and then in light grey.
I inked her edges in a silver
I chalked her cheeks in pink and added white dots to them

I added white and black accents to her ears, hooves and hair, at least that's what I call it lol

I added purple and white twine to the card and popped dotted the little lamb

The cute little saying is a stamp from Pink By Designs " Country Living " stamp line

The purple paper's I used are Kaisercraft

Thanks for stopping by!!

Halloween Dress, Birthday Cupcake Box and BBQ Silverware Holder

For my first project I used 3 Birds On Parade to make this adorable ghost applique to put on this cute little pillow case dress I made for my friends daughter. I bought all the fabric at Joann's sine they were having a sale on their Halloween fabric.

The cute little ghost was cut out at 5" and I cut off his arms because I didn't think they looked cute lol..  and I positioned the ghost's eye's just right so the black fabric would look like eyes.

I used a yard of orange ribbon for the shoulder ties.

For my second project I used Sweet Tooth Boxes to make this adorable cupcake holder for my friends birthday. She loves Red Velvet, so I yelped some bakeries with in a 25 mile radius and found one with 5 stars and 20 miles away :)

I cut the cupcake box out from the Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge found on page 15 at 10.25". I used Echo Parks Hello Summer Paper
I tied a pink ribbon around the bottom

Here's a picture of the YUMMY cupcake I bought for her :)

Just had to tease ya all :)

For my final project I took a Starbucks Mocha glass bottle and used the Block Party cartridge to decorate it for a picnic utensil holder

I cut the table out at 2" in brown and a redish brown paper
for the grass I cut a 3"x 1/2" strip of green paper and inked it

The "Potluck" is cut out at .914" in both black and red bazzil paper

I added red, black and white twine from Queen and Company  to the top of the bottle and tied it to the tag
For the tag I cut it out at 4" using the Art Philosphy cartridge  and inked it in brown

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great rest of your weekend :)
