and added cute little pearls to the front of the dress that I bought from Michaels

Jaded Blossom - Customer Blog Hop

I am thrilled to be part of Jaded Blossom Customer Blog Hop!

I have bought quite of few of their stamps and straw's, they work awesome for parties!!

So in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week at my daughter's school I chose to use Jaded Blossom's 

stamp set "Teacher Appreciation".

I bought these cute little paint bucket's from my local craft store and decided to use it for a gift container for my daughter's teacher. I am going to fill it with little goodies for her.

I added red/white and red, white & blue bakers twine to the handle part. 

The paper is from DCWV 8x8 paper stack called

I cut the paper in half at 4"

The pennant was cut out at 5" from Cricut Party Picks Digital Downloads files.

CONTEST

Flower Clip

 I am still new to making flowers and this cart is somewhat confusing, but I finally made a flower that I LOVE!!! I was going to attach it to a hair barrette for my daughter, but I think she won't like it, she's not into flowers in her hair, she's 10 going on 16 lol.. So I am going to find a knit hair tie for my friends daughter who is going to be turning one in July and hot glue it. I think it will be adorable on her.

Enough of my rambling lol.. Here is my picture of my flower, hope you like it too :D

Flower Shoppe Cart: Cut to size 3.5 

Patterned paper is from a stack I had bought from Micheal's last year

Center is Liquid Pearls in Buttercup that Erica was kind enough to send me, I love how it made it pop!!

I also used Glubers to put the flower together, which Erica was also kind enough to send me. I love those things, so much easier than glue.

Getting Cricky Guest Designer!!!

Hello All My Crafty Friends!!

It's Jenn from Jenn's Paper Crafts
 and I'm so excited to be a Guest Designer here at Getting Cricky with K. Andrew today!!! I just LOVE all of her stamp sets, and I am starting to collect them! So far I just have two sets Of Mice & Lil Men and It's Valentines! 


When I read Kristal's post's inviting crafter's to be a guest designer, I just knew I wanted to submit a project for her! Since I don't own too many of her stamps and the only stamp set of her's I had was "It's Valentines! and the holiday had passed, I knew it was a good time to order a new set and send in a project for her guest design spot! 


Since Father's Day is around the corner and some of the stamps on her set from "Of Mice & Lil Men" had some cute sayings that would be perfect for what I had in mind!

Her is my project, a Father's Day shirt box!!! I made it big enough so our kids 13 & 10 could put some candies in it and maybe a gift card!!

1st Birthday Hat

Hello~ I finally got into the mood to craft today, it's only been 2 weeks lol.. I was looking for a first bday hat to make for my friends daughter who will be turning 1 in July and came across Tamara's blog, Happy Life, Crafty Wife and saw her gorgeous hat she made. I changed mine up a little bit so it wouldn't look exactly like her's.

All my cuts are done with the Cricut :D

Recipe:

Hat : Elmo's Party cut at fit to page

2 purple brads for the ribbon

I hand made the rosette using a 12"x1 1/4" piece of Doodlebug cardstock, scored every 1/4"

Number 1 : Cuttin up at 2.5"

Butterflies: Cut at 1.5" from Serenade and Create A Critter Carts

Father's Day Card

Here is a  Father's Day Card. 

The card I made is for my hubby, he loves racing his 68 Firebird and since no Cricut Cartridges have a Firebird on them I used the vintage car I found on the Groovy Times Cartridge, it was a perfect fit for the theme of my card!

His 68 Firebird is a baby blue and it is his pride and joy, well after the kids and I, haha. As I always say "Boys and there toys" :D
