First Birthday Invitation and Banner

I am currently away camping and boating with my kids and hubby, at a lake we have never been before, so I hope my blog is up and running correctly :)

For my first project I made 60 of these cute little 1st Birthday Invitations for my friends daughter. Her birthday is at the end of the month, hard to believe she is turning 1!!

The background paper is from Echo Parks "Hello Summer" line which is perfect for her invitation
I cut the background paper at 5.639 using the Celebrations Cartridge
The middle pink paper has a scalloped edge to it and was cut at 5.167 using the Celebrations Cartridge
The blue background paper was cut at 4.639 also using the Celebrations Cartridge
The number 1 was cut at 2.722 also using the George Cartridge
I added black lines to the 1 to give it some added detail and printed the party information on it using my printer and then loading it into my Cricut and lining it up so it would cut perfectly!
For the lady bug and dragonfly I used the Doodlecharms Cartridge
The lady bug is cut out at .931 and I added black diamond stickles to the body and added black dots for the eyes
The Dragon fly was cut at 1.292 and I added stickles to the wings for added detail
The Flower was cut at 1.5 using the April Showers Cartridge

For my next project I made a matching banner for her highchair

I used the same Echo Park "Hello Summer" paper
For the banner I used Country Life Cartridge
Cut at 5" x 6.125w
Inside banner layer I cut at 5.514w

I AM was cut at 3.181 using the Cherry Limeade Cartridge
The number 1 was cut at 4.097 using the George Cartridge

The dragon flies are the same ones I cut for the invitation just bigger
I tied green and white checked ribbon

Sew Easy Birthday Card

Happy 4th of July!! I hope your all having a wonderful day celebrating with your family and friends. I thank you for taking the time to check out my blog today and see what project I have made for today.

I chose to make a birthday card for a friend of mine.

For the paper I chose to use "Sweet Day" I purchased from Erica's store.
The zig zag design is from using the Sew Easy Paper Piercing tool and the red sew easy string.
The cupcake is cut from the Create A Critter Cartridge at 2"
I inked the edges in a pale pink
and added black detail to the edges of the cupcake
the "Sweet Birthday Wishes" stamp is from Pink By Design.

Summer Scrapbook Layout

For my layout I chose to do a camping layout, though most of our camping trips are with our boat, wakeboarding and of course tubing. So this layout reflects being out in the sun :)

I just love Bo Bunny Sun Kissed Dots Paper

The title, Fun in the Sun was cut out at 1.535" x 10.558
The fun SUN was cut out at 11.222 and cut in half
The shorts are cut out at 3"
I used Life is a beach for all the cuts :)

Here is a close up of the sun and the title

Teacher Appreciation Card

For today's posting I wanted to make  a back to school card for my daughter's new teacher. I know I'm kinda jumping the gun, but I am praying she get's my friend for her 5th grade teacher :)

My card is an A2 size
Red square is cut at 3 3/4 x 5 1/4
For the scalloped label I chose to use the Cricut Essentials cartridge, which I forgot I even had lol
The label is cut at 1 1/2 x 5

For the stamped sentiment I chose to use Jaded Blossom stamp from their "Teacher Appreciation" set
I stamped it in Stazon in Olive Green

For the inside I just cut a piece of card stock for some added cuteness.

Let's Go Hiking

For my layout I used the adorable file " Let's Go Hiking" which can be found here: KaDooble Bug

I used Imaginisce "Happy Camper" paper, I just love this paper! I used 3 sheets of it lol
The two background paper is the pattern on the opposite side of the tree and bear paper, super cute huh!!

For the rest of the pattern I used Bazzil paper and inked the edges and added doodle lines to the girl, boy, moon and trees!

I didn't add the photo mat's yet, since I am going to use this for my own personal album and I haven't printed out the pictures for it yet.

Hope you like it as much as I do :)

First Birthday Hat

For my project I chose to make a birthday hat for my girlfriends daughter's 1st birthday in July! I know it seem's like it's away's out there, but the summer is a really busy time for us as a family! We love to go camping and boating, and usually are gone almost every weekend!! Enough of my rambling, now onto my project!!

I love Echo Park's " Hello Summer" line and was perfect for this cute little birthday hat
I used Elmo's Party cartridge and did the hat "fit to page" which came out at about 11"
The rosette is a 12" x 1 1/2" piece of paper scored every 1/4"
The number 1 is from the Celebrations Cartridge cut at 3"
The butterflies are from Create A Critter and Serenade Cartridge cut at 3" and I inked the edges
I added brads to the sides of the hat and put pink ribbon through so we could tie it to her little head :)

Thanks for stopping by
