Pinque Peacock’s Luck of the Irish Blog Hop



Welcome to the Pinque Peacock's

I wanted to make a really cute project for our 1st blog hop but a cold decided to kick my butt and take all of my energy so instead I made this super quick and cute picture using a file found in the Silhouette store!


I sized it at 5x7 
printed it in green
and put in into a black frame I had laying around the house.

Now onto the fun stuff!!!

SO HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE.......



That I have been chose to be apart of 
Here is a little bit about myself:

My name is Jennifer Lorist, but all my friends and family call me Jenn :) I married my high school sweetheart in 1997 ( 16yrs ago ) and have two wonderful kids. Ryan will be 14 in June and starting high school in the Fall and Megan will be 11 in April and starting Jr High also in the Fall.

I've always loved anything crafty, at 13 my grandmother and I took oil painting classes together. From there I found a love for tole painting and still do it on occasion.

In 2004 I was introduced to the Cricut Bug as I call it, and have been in love ever since. It makes scrap booking our family albums so much easier.

I just recently bought a Cameo, and oh my this machine is flawless. If you don't own one, I suggest you run out and buy one soon :)

I hope you follow me and my new design team sisters on this wonderful new adventure!!

Good morning~ Today is my turn to post a project for my design team spot and I chose to use the new file "On The Road Again". It's such a cute and fun file!

No on to my project.

I chose to do a 1 page layout, but this can easily be made into a 2 page layout :)





In the file you get everything you see but the 2 photo mats. I cut all the pieces out with my Cameo, which I LOVE!!  It cuts so much better than the other machine, I won't mention a name, because I may hurt it's feelings lol.. I inked all the pieces and used bazzil cardstock.

Now for my project:


The background paper is from Best Creations Winter Woodland Collection. 

I chose to use MME's Signature Christmas paper for the snowman's jacket and all the penguins hats and scarfs , it's from last years stock but I just love the vintage look of this paper. 
I chalked all my pieces to add some depth
For the snow hills, I painted on some glitter glue from MS and added some MS Snow Glitter

Honeybearz Designs 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop





Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop Day 5. This hop will take place November 24th through December 5th and the new postings each day will be posted by 9am eastern standard time. Since I LOVE Christmas I was eager to be on Lisa's 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!!! For my project I decorated this super cute and easy  glass block I bought from Hobby Lobby. I  used the Cricut Cart Jolly Holiday's and etching cream.


I cut the sentiment out and welded it using CCR
The sentiment was cut out at 2"
I added a 25 strand of white Christmas lights I bought at Walmart for $2.88


The Christmas picks are from Micheal's and I hot glued them to the top
and the red snowflake ribbon is also from Micheal's
